A little update everyone. I just ate a bunch of calories. Going to use some to live, and store the rest as fat. More later.
MEET OUR SPONSOR
What a week it’s been for BehindBobsBurgers.com! Although our IPO failed to spark much interest (we’ve since learned that very few Tumblr sites trade on the New York Stock Exchange, and that valuing ourselves at $2.7 billion was stupid), in just three days we’ve packed in SIX POSTS, gotten to meet some funny fans, and generally had a ball. Now we’re proud to announce we’ve picked up our first sponsor!
People probably wonder what fuels the Bob’s Burgers writers. We’re not talking about things like “ambition” or “drive” because none of us at the show have either of those. We’re talking about body fuel — food products that keep us typewriting and word-forming and joke-squeezing — and one body fuel in particular: Svenhard’s Swedish Bakery snacks.
Here’s how the staff breaks down:
Kit Boss loves the Berry Horns.
Holly Schlesinger prefers Breakfast Claws.
Rich Rinaldi raves about Raisin-ettes.
Nora Smith has survived on a diet of Apple Horns and crouton packets for 17 years.
Mike Benner enjoys the Peach Winkers, which aren’t a Svenhard product but sound delicious.
Although the Svenhard company has given us no monetary assistance or free products and cannot be considered our “sponsor” by any commonly understood definition, we’re certainly going to pretend they are.
Have a “Berry” pleasant weekend!
The Bob’s Staff
What have you got in your head? is a two-part artwork series of human brains made with food by Italian artist Sara Asnaghi.
Created in 2006, Part 1 of the series includes human brains molded from polenta, red lentils, salt and more. Sara created Part 2 in 2010, which includes brains made from canary food, nonpareil candies and a ‘brain sandwich’ made from bread crumbs and clay.

I like how they look all bunched together like this. Did the International House of Pancakes put The Royal Canadian Pancake Houses out of business?
